Being able to satisfy the needs of the market, with attention to customer service, punctuality and product quality have allowed Ingranaggi Moreali to become a market leader and now find itself in a phase of strong expansion.
To consolidate this growth we aim to become a Lean World Class® player in the next 5 years and, in order to achieve such an ambitious goal, we have launched a challenging project of Lean&Digital Transformation, accompanied by Bonfiglioli Consulting, a leading consulting firm since 1973, at the side of companies to support their growth and success in global markets, and Digibelt, an innovative start-up of Lean Industry 4.0 applications for the manufacturing industry in the ecosystem of Bonfiglioli Consulting.
The project objectives
The Lean&Digital Transformation project is aimed at supporting the company in the search for maximum operational efficiency, through a program of progressive digitalization of the entire factory able to collect all the data generated and transform them into real-time Key Performance Indicators.
A path that implies, first of all, an evolution of the corporate culture and organization. Through training programs aimed at employees on the principles and tools of Lean World Class®, the company aims at the widespread dissemination of the mindset oriented towards continuous improvement, the search for total quality through involvement, new skills acquired in terms of Lean methods and tools, but also soft skills such as leadership and team management.
The application of the project from the current pilot department to the whole factory will have a strong impact, with measurable effects mainly on two fronts
- quality, which is already a strong point of the company, that will grow further thanks to a continuous improvement approach, with effects on cost and time reduction, which will translate into a better service to the final customer;
- efficiency, through the careful and continuous search for continuous improvement, made possible by the widespread collection of data, which will lead everyone - starting from the machine operators - to identify and eliminate losses and inefficiencies in the plants.
Ultimately, the company will not only equip itself with a cutting edge digital structure capable of maximizing the potential of the factory and meeting, if not exceeding, the expectations of large customers, but also with an advanced organizational infrastructure capable of enhancing the technical and relational skills of its people, which will make it competitive and resilient in the face of the continuing challenges of Economy 4.0.
